Teach, Serve and Inspire.

That’s what we started out to do in 2008 when we launched “60 Seconds on Officiating” with just a handful of email addresses of local basketball referees.

We wanted to enhance the overall experience of basketball officiating for any person, no matter what the level of expertise, by providing small, steady doses of education, service and inspiration.

Today, as we prepare for our eighth season of, “60 Seconds on Officiating”  ( http://ref60.com ), we are reaching more than 100,000 unique viewers in over 90 countries.

But we want to be more.

Our educational material will continue to be delivered in a fresh, insightful way to give referees a better handle on the rules in the heat of the game, and to be able to more effectively manage the players, coaches and spectators in and around the game.

We will continue Teach and Inspire at the same image-of-difference high level; but we want to raise the roof on the Serve component of our “60 Seconds” mantra.

Our desire to Serve more has led us to forming, The Zebra Foundation, which will raise funds to help underwrite projects and assist organizations that promote the welfare of good sportsmanship and contribute to the well-being of people.

The first effort will be directed towards our, Stars In Stripes program, that will underwrite the cost of training, registering and outfitting selected military personnel who are interested in becoming basketball referees.

We could think of no better group to launch our Zebra Foundation with then the brave men and women who choose to Serve our country and provide the shield of protection that keeps us safe and free.

It is our hope that you find our efforts worthy of your financial support and you will make a tax deductible charitable contribution to The Zebra Foundation, Inc, or support our work by purchasing a Zebra Foundation or Stars In Stripes t-shirt.

Either way, we thank you in advance for your support!
